In search of success
If you're anything like me, you probably started your business
expecting to achieve the kind of success that leads to
financial freedom, personal fulfilment and a better quality of life.
You probably also discovered that creating, building, growing, evolving
and leading a company is one of the biggest challenges of your life
and that little from the world of work equips you to succeed.
I'm guessing that you (like me) are bombarded every day
with promises of shortcuts to success from bolt-on, quick-fix, super-charged hacks.
Most fail to live up to the hype because they only address one small piece of the puzzle.
So even if they are a credible solution they dont work because
people fail to consider that everything is connected.
The alarming statistics about how few succeed
shows just how hard it is to create, design, build, grow,
organise, lead and evolve lasting business success.
Between 1 and 4% make it (depending on how far you want to get)
which correlates to the percentage of entrepreneurs
who choose to have a mentor making the 4X more likely to succeed.
In theory these challenges should be a lot easier to overcome
because we are alive at a time when we are more educated than ever before.
We have instant access to all the information we need. Technology is amazing and cheap.
Talent is easy to discover and customer engagement is now pretty simple.
What's the one thing that determines success?
We could have a very long conversation
and I could map out the complexities but the irrefutable truth that gets
repeated in the teaching of everyone who has ever achieved great success
is that if you want to go further than you have ever been before,
you need to develop more advanced thinking and better approach
than the one that got you to here.
Entrepreneurship is a journey
where you have to draw your own map
Everybody has the same puzzle pieces.
Not everybody sees clearly how to put it together.
I can show you how.
